Post by jono »

hi ive just bought a brand new 58'' carbon road frame on the new Zealand equivalent to ebay and im trying to find out its origin there is an web address on the swingarm "gitane .com.au" but the site is not active i have found a few photos on line of what seem to be earlier models but not of my frame which is a 2011 with internal cabling ive fitted ultegra 10 speed group set and am runing durace alloy wheels it's light and climbs really well i believe it is made in asia like most high end carbon frames but would like to no more on its origins, im really happy with it and will probably upgrade to a 10 speed mech durace group set at a later stage so i can put the ultegra set back on my old pinarello have any of you guys heard of this bike i read somewhere that there not even considered to be a gitane at all .any info would be much appreciated as i will definitely be keeping it for some time

I used (what remains) of my three years of French from HS and then used some translation web app to validate what I had written. We'll see what happens.
