Make it two in a row for Saur! Cyril Bessy won stage one, increasing his lead in the GC. Great ride for him, as he soloed for the win, arriving 31 seconds in front of the next rider (there is that number again)! When all was said and done, he held a 29 second lead over the 2nd placed rider in the GC.

The Tour d'Alsace site has some photos, even one of Saur-Sojason riding the ttt. There are about as many photos of children (prologue) and dogs (see stage 1) as of cyclists. They also seem to have a kid's tt going. looks like fun. But I couldn't find any videos of the race.

Well...we didn't take the overall, but it was a successful race nonetheless. I have a strange feeling that after the success of the first two days, the team was "satisfied."
