ToC

Post by Wisey »

Well, it's getting interesting now, eh?

Will someone go out and cheer on the Dodger for me? 8)

C'mon Chas, you know you want to be an Aussie for a day. All you have to do is stand by the side of the road wearing your work shorts (known as Stubbies), a blue singlet (known as a wife-beater), and a pair of flimsy rubber slip ons (known as thongs - long before underwear was called the same). Now get drunk waiting for the race, eat a few luke warm meat pies, chant aussie, aussie, aussie, oi, oi, oi at anyone you think may be an Aussie (including Jens Voigt) while yelling obscenities at everyone else. Generally be obscene and abusive to all other spectators, especially anyone you suspect is a Pom.

And we wonder why the world doesn't take us seriously...........
Kind Regards,
Wisey

What a cool TT course. Super technical + power on those long rises. We are getting the ToC live here in AUS, and the best part is that I don't have to stay up till 2AM to see the finish like at the TdF. I just wake up, roll out of bed and the racing starts at 7AM with a hot coffee in my hands. Perfect way to start a Sunday morning. (yes, I was too slack to ride my bike!)
Kind Regards,
Wisey
