75% is original Gitane, saddle, wheels and forks are not original. Maillard hubs and Rigida rims are from 1989. rest of the components are date stamped 1978 so I?m guessing they are original.
The project has been on and off for three years and was finally finished last Friday. The following Saturday the bike was used in Danish Veteran Cycle Club?s summer rally. Ran perfectly with no problems.
The last picture is the Aubisque along with a 1978 Gitane Enghein which my wifes uses on veteran runs.
